We all know that people learn best when they can see and hear their lessons.Creating text to speech and audio to text for your course contents is a great way of engaging the audience. It can also be a useful tool in terms of accessibility, making it easier for people who have hearing difficulties or are visually impaired. 

How do you create text to speech and audio to text for your course content? Are you looking for a way to promote your courses and make them more appealing by having it read out loud on the screen? Then this tutorial is for you!


1. Login to your Coursium account. Click ‘Audio’ under projects. This is where you can see your audio libraries.


2. Click ‘Add New’ at the upper right corner.

Note: Coursium supports 3 audio to text and text to audio methods.





3. Upload your file. On the right side, you can edit the language, pitch, voice model, add text, etc,.


4. Once done uploading. Coursium will initialize the file and will auto-generate tags and transcription. You will know when Coursium is done initializing when you can already see the ‘duration’ of the file you uploaded.


5. Select the file you uploaded by clicking ‘Open’. And there you will see the tags and transcriptions Coursium has generated.



6. To have your audio content in another language, you can do that by clicking the ‘Add’ button beside Languages. A pop-up window will show and there you can select a Language you want from the dropdown, enter the language name, voice model, and edit the volume and pitch. Once done, click the ‘Add’ button below.


7. Wait for Coursium to initialize the new language being addedOnce done, you will see the language you added, just click on it, and you will see the tags and transcriptions being translated to that certain language.

Note: Repeat the same steps if you want to add more languages.

8. To download your file, click the ‘download’ icon to see available options.




9. A pop-up window will show. If you want to download the ‘audio’ click ‘Audio’ and if you want to download the transcription, just click ‘Transcriptions’ and select the file type on the dropdown list. Once done, click ‘Update’.
