It's hard to build a training course from scratch. Chances are you have found some of your favorite videos on YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook and want to use them for your E-learning courses. But how do you import videos from these sites?

1.  First, you need to go to ‘Video’ under Projects and click the ‘Add New’ button at the top right corner.

2. Please make sure to select the video accent from the ‘Video Language’ dropdown list to continue.

3. After selecting an accent, you can already upload your video from your computer, via an MP4 video URL, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and other platforms.

4. To locate the video URLs supported by Coursium:

On YouTube, Coursium will only support the ‘share’ url.

On Vimeo, Coursium will only support the ‘share’ url.

On Facebook, you need to select the ‘Copy Link’

5. Once you have your Video Url, go back to Coursium and select your preferred platform and paste the url and don’t forget to change the Video Accent of what you prefer to have.

Note: The rendering, tagging, & generating transcription depends on the video size.

6. If the upload is stuck on just ‘Initializing’ for more than 3 minutes and when you refresh after 3 minutes, it’s still showing ‘Initializing’, it means that the video didn’t upload well so you need to delete the content.

On our test video, it has completed the ‘Initializing’ phase and now showing pending, it means that the upload was okay.

Note: If the AI can’t detect the language spoken on the video or not audible enough, then the video may not be uploaded well.

7. When the video is ready and has completely been uploaded, you will receive a notification.

8. You can then open the video you uploaded and make some changes however you like.

9. You can use the same process when you want to import from other platforms.
