Accurate text-based caption is important in a video or audio course. Some students learn by just reading the captions for that certain course so it’s important that what you’re saying on the video is the same as what is on the text-based captions. If you made some changes on the transcription then you need to sync it so that those changes you made will reflect on the current video.
1. To sync changes, you need to make an edit or remove a line first.
For this tutorial, we’ll delete the first two lines to apply the changes and sync it to our video.
2. Deleting the lines doesn’t mean that the changes will automatically apply. We still need to click the ‘Sync’ button to apply the changes we made to the selected video.
3. After syncing the changes, you’ll receive a notification that it has been completed.
4. When the sync is completed and you’ll refresh it, you’ll see the changes that you made have been applied.
