You don’t have to create your own courses from scratch to sell it. You can just grab a tutorial video on YouTube without worrying about copyright infringement. We will provide you simple steps on how you can legally use a YouTube video for your E-learning courses inside Coursium and sell it.
1. Go to Youtube and search for a topic or tutorial that you want. Click on ‘Filters’.
2. Select ‘Creative Commons’ under Features. These are videos that you can legally use for your own courses.
3. Once done, select a video that you want to add and copy its url. Paste the video url in your Coursium and click ‘Upload’. Don’t forget to change the video accent/language.
4. The next step is to create your video page. Go to ‘Video Page’ under Customize and click the ‘Add New’ button.
5. A pop up window will show up. You need to input all the necessary information you want for that page. You can even password restrict the page to allow those paid customers only to view your courses. Click ‘Save’ at the bottom part.
6. To add courses on your page, go to ‘Videos’ under Projects and open an existing video.
7. Click on the ‘Embed Code’ button for that selected video.
8. A pop up window will show up. Go to the ‘Code’ tab and copy the embed code.
9. Go back to the ‘Video Page’ and open that page where you want to add your video content. Click on the ‘Page Settings’ button.
10. A pop up window will show up and paste the code you copied on the HTML Code area. Click ‘Save’.
11. Now you can see a notification that the page settings have been updated. We will then check our page by clicking the ‘Open Page’ button.
12. As you remember we password protect our page, so if we will open it, a password is required.
Once we input the password, you can already see the video course you added on the page you created.
