Do you ever feel like your translations are too quiet? Maybe it's time to add some background sound. Background sound can help people focus on the text they're reading by creating an environment that simulates what they might hear in the original language. What Coursium wants to achieve is to be able to add a background sound to any of our translated videos.

1. To get started, we go to ‘Background Sounds’ under App and click the ‘Add File’ button.

2. A pop up window will show up and from there, click ‘Choose File’ to upload your music file and click ‘Submit’.

3. Once done, you can already see the music file you added.

4. The next step is to open the languages and assign the background music to them. First, we need to open an existing video.

5. Click a Language that you want to add background music.

6. Click on the ‘Add Background Music’ button.

7. A pop-up window will show up. Select an existing music file or click on ‘choose a file’ to upload. Click ‘Submit’ and a background music will now be added to your translated language.
